It looks as though I will be pushing back the brew date on the Stout/Reese's Cup Stout in order to brew a holiday beer.
I have decided to go with a Gingerbread inspired brown ale. I will likely split the 10 gallons into a 5 gallon chestnut-brown and 5 gallons of Gingy's Holiday Swill™.
I will make a couple of rum flavor starters and pour them in at bottling/kegging. As the Gingerbread Ale will be going to friends and family for Xmas presents, it will likely get bottled whereas the chestnut brown ale will probably go to the kegs.
